In Sanya like anywhere else in China, people like using English on signs, packagings etc. The followings are a few funny English we found there.
- This is actually a "foot massage" place (which appeared all over China overnight), not sure why they advertise themselves as a controversial " Full Bottom Massage" in English. Maybe more English speaking people ask for bottom massage rather than foot massage?
2. One thing I don't understand is that with so many Chinese people who speak good English in China, why nobody checks the English on their product packaging carefully? Maybe they believe any English letters on the packaging will make them look international.
in fact, it's about the education. the edu system doesn't aim on letting the students to use the language, but to win the tests. that's it.
